Logbooks, 1862-1873

Logbooks kept by N. B. Denison, captain of merchant ships Emeline and Isabel, on voyages along the East Coast of the U.S. and the Caribbean. Log for the Emeline is dated January to July 1862. Logs for the Isabel are dated 1870-73, 1871-2, and 1872-3. All include handwritten entries on pre-printed forms for sea logs and harbor logs.
